T/TH WEEK
The 2nd order of basketball clothing is in. Also, the tote bags from the first order are finally in. Items can be picked up from Mrs. Brion.
Spanish Club is selling Valentine Candy Grams today and tomorrow for delivery on Thursday. Cost is $1.00 and can be purchased before school by the buffalo or during lunch.
A representative from the Air Force will be here today during lunch.
HS will have activity period tomorrow 3rd hour at 10:25. The following meetings are scheduled:
- Any junior who signed up for the "mini-king/queen" committee should come to Mrs. Stoughton's room (319 in the elementary)
- All FBLA members that competed at Regionals or did Online tests in advance should meet in the lobby for a group picture for the newspaper.
- Seniors that signed up to take the Elks Constitution scholarship test: Please meet in Mrs. Flaherty's room to go over the test requirements.
- NHS officers should meet in Mrs. Luedtke’s room.
A representative from Waldorf College, Forest City, Iowa will be here tomorrow at 1:00 in the guidance office. Please get a pass from the guidance office, if you wish to meet with the representative.
FFA Snowtubing permission slips for February 15th are in the Ag Room. Permission slips are due Thursday. Cost is $10 for FFA members. Money and permission slips can be given to Allysha Stocks or Mr. Wehling.
A representative from the Army will be in the cafeteria on Thursday.
Attention Students that have either partially paid their yearbook balance or did not pay at all: Jostens will no longer accept any payment. If your name is on the partially paid list on Mrs. Fath's computer lab door, you may still get a yearbook; however, you will need to pay Mrs. Fath here at school the balance that is due. If you did not pay for a yearbook and would still like to order one, the cost will be $50 and may be ordered and paid for here at school until Friday. This is the final deadline for ordering a yearbook in advance. See Mrs. Fath if you have any questions.
Friday is Early Release. Periods 3 and 4 will not meet.
Buffalo County Fair Steer Weigh-In will be Saturday from 10:00-noon at the fairgrounds.
HS Students and adults are invited to a Coffee Mill Ski Day Monday, February 15th. Bus transportation will be provided. Interested students should see the posting outside the HS office.
Science Club Members: Remember to complete the questionnaire on Moodle by February 16th. You may use the computer in his room to do so. If you do not remember your password and need to reset it, remember to sign up in his room.
Any football players interested in attending Jeff Trickey's quarterback camps should stop by Coach Sinz's room to pick up the information.
Seniors: Please see the following information regarding scholarship applications:
- The Buffalo County Farm Bureau Agricultural Scholarship for $500 is in the guidance office. Parents must be a member of the Buffalo County Farm Bureau to qualify.
Found items: Child’s red coat, safety glasses, pink gloves, black glove, and girl’s pink Packer hooded sweatshirt. Please claim in the HS office. Items not claimed by Friday will be donated.
