High School Announcements 4/16/19

Homeroom Meetings: (Remember to have attendance taken in your Homeroom before reporting to meetings)

Tuesday, April 16th: Student council executive meeting in Mrs. Berger’s room.

Wednesday, April 17th:  Any current 9th-11th grade girls planning to play volleyball in the fall should plan to attend a meeting in the team locker room to receive summer league and practice information.

Thursday, April 18th: Full council student council meeting in Mrs. Berger’s room.

Thursday, April 18th: All students going on the Europe trip should report to Mrs. Flaherty's room for a meeting.  There will be two important topics discussed.

General Announcements:

National Honor Society: There is a mandatory meeting Thursday at 12:35 for all CURRENT members.  Bring your lunch to Mrs. McRoberts’ classroom. The meeting should last approximately 15 minutes.  

Post Prom Forms: Pick up permission forms for Post Prom in the office.  Completed slips are due to the office by THURSDAY.  

Prom Guest Passes: If you are bringing a guest to prom, please be sure to pick up your guest pass from the office ASAP.  Please allow plenty of time as the form must be faxed back by your guest’s school by MONDAY.

Seniors: Please check your school email for the senior activity award form.  The form is due to Renee in the district office by April 26th.

NHS Highway Clean Up: Saturday, May 11th at 8:00 am.

Students:  Are you interested in possibly majoring in business in the future?  Mrs. Fath has information about a summer experience called Business World which is a four day session at three different colleges.  The first session is from June 16-19 at St. Norbert College in DePere. The 2nd session is from June 23-26 at UW-Madison, and the 3rd session is from July 14-17 at UW-Stevens Point.  The cost is $75 and it's a great experience. Lifeguards Needed: Are you looking for a flexible, fun job this summer?  Our pool is hiring lifeguards again! You would be involved in anything from swimming lessons to monitoring the pool to everything in between!  All you need is a letter of interest stating you are interested in being a lifeguard. You can get your lifeguard certification through either the YMCA or the Parks & Rec Department.  Stop in and see Mrs. Bagstad if you have any questions or want to turn your letter of interest in!
