Mrs. Julson's first grade class discovered the star inside an apple; connecting it to the star of Core Goodness found in each of us.
🍎Ms. Tuve's students were able to go on a field trip to Ferguson's Apple Orchard. They had lots of fun and were even able to pick their own apples!
We had some special guests come to Elementary Herd Group #19 today to talk about teamwork and how the football team uses teamwork! Thank you for joining us today- now go beat Regis!
🫧 4K Shaving Cream Fun! 🫧
Mrs. Kitchner’s busy bees had the BEST time playing with shaving cream while practicing their pre-writing strokes, writing the letters in their names, and drawing shapes! ✏️🫧
This fun sensory activity was not only a blast, but also provided wonderful practice for strengthening those little fingers and getting them ready to write! 💙🦬🐝
Ms. Thompson's Class Family had such a fun week celebrating homecoming, learning about apples, and discovering more about core goodness! They even got to taste some apples and make applesauce!! 🍏🍎🦬💙😄
🦬💙Homecoming Spirit Gear💙🦬
With the change of Homecoming plans, the elementary student council has decided to sell their spirit gear after the parade/during pick up today. We will be set up by the little Buffalo on Mill St. We will also still be set up in the hallways on Friday morning.
Money raised from this sale goes toward a Backpack Program donation and helps fund other activities at school for students.

Ms. Thompson's first graders read the book Fruit Salad Friend and discussed everything it takes to be a good friend! Then, they made and enjoyed their own fruit salad with all of the special ingredients! ☀️😀💙
Ms. Kings class has enjoyed getting to explore workplaces in math! We have been working together, counting by 5's and building super cool creations!
Mrs. Ebner's 4th graders were hyped up today while they drafted an NFL team to follow this season!
The elementary had our final assembly to celebrate our good character award winners. We focused on self-control during the month of April and courage in May. The traits were introduced in our Herds groups and then discussed and focused on throughout each month. We always talked about what each trait would look like at school, at home, and in the community.
Congrats to our students and staff winners! We appreciate you being great role models!
Mrs. Julson's first grade logged the most reading minutes in Beanstack and was rewarded with STEM and game time!
The elementary had lots of fun today! We started with an assembly this morning where we sang Happy Birthday to America for the upcoming 250th celebration. 🥳 We also sang the Star Spangled Banner all together. Then everyone got to enjoy our tri. 3/birthday celebration outside.

Mrs. Kitchner’s PM 4K class loved having service learning students Cadyn and Jorie helping in their classroom this year. The girls did an amazing job interacting with students and lending a hand wherever they were needed. They have been such positive role models for our youngest buffaloes, and we are so thankful for the care and enthusiasm they brought to the classroom each day! 💙🦬👏🏼🐝
Ms. Thompson's class had so much fun tie dying bucket hats during their camping week! They are all so excited that they are done and they can finally wear them!! They all turned out super cute!! 🤩🩵💜🧡💚❤️💛💙💗
