Mrs. Kitchner's PM 4K class taste tested lemons and limes also. They voted for the lemon to be the tastiest, although they thought both were WAY too sour! 😝🍋🍋‍🟩

Mrs. Kitchner's AM 4K classes taste tested lemons and limes and voted on which fruit they liked best. Although both fruits tasted very sour (notice their faces!), lemon was the favorite! 🍋😝

The elementary school has spent the last few months focusing on GRATITUDE and GROWTH MINDSET. Friday we had an assembly to recognize the student in each grade who best modeled those traits. We also recognized some staff members who do an amazing job with these traits as well. Congratulations to the winners. 🥳

Mrs. Kitchner's 4K classes had their very own election! After discussing the pros and cons of each season, they voted on which season they liked better - summer or winter. They each went to the "voting booth" and cast their own private vote. After everyone voted, they tallied the votes and the winner was chosen. The morning class chose winter as their favorite season winning 10-5. The afternoon class chose summer with a vote of 7-5. Our little buffaloes give voting a "thumbs up" and they can't wait to vote in a real election someday!

Mrs. Kitchner's 4K classes went on a "leaf hunt" around the school on a beautiful crisp fall day. They discussed the many different types of leaves they discovered such as oak, elm, and maple leaves. The leaves were so many different colors and sizes and it felt great to get some fresh air on such a nice day!

Ms. Falkner and Mrs. Kitchner's 4K classes had a very special visitor this past week! Mrs. Norrish, a retired Mondovi Early Childhood teacher, brought her "bag of tricks" and entertained us with silly glasses, an awesome Halloween story, and even taught us a new finger play! Thank you, Mrs. Norrish, for continuing to inspire our youngest buffaloes with your skills and knowledge! We are already looking forward to your next visit around the holidays!
