Our elementary students all gathered together on Friday to recognize our Good Character Award winners. We focused on HONESTY for November and December. Then we focused on RESPONSIBILITY during the month of January.
Congratulations to our winners! Thank you for being such hard working students and great role models for others.
Ms. Thompson's first graders have been learning all about the Olympics! Today we had our own mini opening ceremony. Mr. Moy passed us a "torch" that we passed around our room just like they do for the Olympics. We are so excited to keep up with the Winter Olympics this year! ❤️🤍💙

When the classroom theme is NFL you host a class Super Bowl Party! We had food, watched top plays, performed readers theaters, and completed an escape room to find out that KC Wolf stole the Lombardi Trophy.
In reading Ms.King's class has been talking about perspective and different points of view. Today the students created a mental image and drew their perspective of the story!
Ms. Thompson’s class worked on their phonics skills by putting letters together, then jumping to sound them out. We love making learning fun!! 🤩💙

Learning happens in many ways! Mrs. Julson's first graders explored sensory bins with math concepts and practiced sight words in sand.

We had lots of fun today in Ms. King's class at our Holiday Party! We had an ornament exchange, decorated cookies, made gingerbread houses, and ate lots of yummy snacks while watching the Polar Express!

Ms. Thompson's First Graders earned 4k Play Day!!! They LOVED getting to spend time back in the 4k classrooms with all of the fun 4k toys!

Mrs. Martin's 4th graders had a blast using what they know about fractions to create oobleck!
Ms. Thompson's First Graders made Class Christmas Cards and learned how to write out an envelope and mail cards! They then walked to the post office to mail their cards to their families! 🎄💌
