Our elementary students had the opportunity to participate in a Thanksgiving break bingo activity. The bingo board included gratitude challenges and a home behavior matrix to fill out, similar to what each classroom uses at school. Families worked together to create expectations for being safe, respectful, and responsible during different parts of the day (e.g., mealtime, playtime, etc.).
All students who turned in their completed bingo board were entered into a drawing for a McT’s gift card. Thank you to the Student Council for providing the prizes! Congrats to the winners!

Thank you Mondovi PTA for the awesome wobble stools! We are loving them in Ms. King's class!

Mrs. Ebner's class drafted NFL teams at the beginning of the year and wrote letters to the teams!

4K Shaving Cream Fun!
Mrs. Kitchner’s classes had a blast exploring shapes, letters, numbers, and even practicing their names during this engaging, multi-sensory activity. In 4K, play and learning go hand in hand, and this was the perfect hands-on experience for our youngest little buffaloes!

Fourth grade swooping teamwork skills with puzzles.

Mrs. Kitchner's 4K students sure have a lot to be thankful for! Happy Thanksgiving from these cute little turkeys!

Mrs. Julson’s first graders are ready for the Thanksgiving Day parade!

Each month the elementary school meets in groups called Herds. We have 35 different groups with kids from 5K-5th grade in each group. The groups stay the same each year with the exception of the 5th graders leaving and new 5K students joining. It's a great way to build a sense of community and build relationships.
A large focus of the meetings is introducing a new character trait to work on for the month. The trait for September was "good choices" and in October we worked on "cooperation." We then choose one student from each grade level and one staff member who best displays those traits throughout the month.
Today we had an all-school assembly to recognize our winners. Congrats to you all!
Not pictured for "good choices" is Mrs. Ness.

4K families had some very special visitors during their annual "Dads & Donuts" event held in October. Our visitors spent time eating donuts, reading stories, playing BINGO, and visiting with other 4K families! Thank you to those who were able to attend - it sure meant a lot to our youngest little buffaloes! 💙🦬🍩

We hope you all had a GREAT Halloween this past weekend! These 4K friends enjoyed dressing in their costumes, parading in different classrooms, playing Halloween BINGO, having a dance party and eating yummy snacks! 🎃🐝💙

It was a great day to go on a leaf hunt! Mrs. Kitchner's 4K classes hunted for different colored leaves that were all different sizes and shapes! We are taking advantage of these beautiful fall days before the snow flies! 🍁🍂☀️🐝

Thank you Mitch Stamm Visuals for helping capture our Elementary School Spirit on Homecoming!

Thank you CCF for the donation of socks, gloves, and hats!

💙Happy Homecoming from 5K💙

Mrs. Kitchner's 4K classes learned all about apples this week! They tasted different apple varieties and voted on which one they liked best, learned a new apple finger play, made apple headbands, patterned apples on the calendar, and read many stories about apples! It's been a FUN week in 4K! 🐝🍎🍏🐝

It's beginning to look like fall at Mondovi Elementary School! There are still plenty of peppers as well as a few tomatoes and carrots in the farmstand.

Miss. King‘s class had fun flashlight reading on Friday. They got to choose a partner or choose to read by themselves. This was a hit and a request to do it every Friday!

There are a few additions to the elementary garden. The 24/25 4th grade class donated a picnic table, and we had another donation of a second table. We also have a little library added next to the farmstand for students and families! A local girlscout troop kindly painted the little library, and it looks great! Stop by for some books and fresh vegetables!

Fresh produce added to the Mondovi Elementary Farm Stand!
