On Thursday, December 8th from 8:45am-11:00am, all the Buffalo County 10th grade students from Alma, Cochrane-Fountain City, Gilmanton, and Mondovi School Districts will be attending a prevention morning with two important sessions at Mondovi High School.

Football Fan Bus: Fans can sign up in the MS/HS office for a fan bus to the football game on Thursday. The cost is $5.00 (due when you sign up). Fans must sign up by noon Wednesday. Students 6th grade and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The bus will depart at 8:15 Thursday morning. Please note: Tickets must be purchased electronically per the WIAA (https://gofan.co/app/school/wiaa2). Proof of ticket purchase must be shown by riders prior to boarding the bus. #mondovipride

Football Fan Bus: Fans can sign up in the MS/HS office for a fan bus to the football game on Friday. The cost is $10.00 (due when you sign up) and includes the price of the ticket to the game. Fans must sign up by 3:15 Thursday. Students 6th grade and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Plan on the bus departing at approximately 4:15 on Friday. If it is determined that there are not enough people signed up to run the fan bus, a message will be sent out canceling it and money will be refunded. #mondovipride

Mondovi HS UWEC Honor Band students are ready to “break a leg” at the Pablo Center at the Confluence in Eau Claire. It was a long, but rewarding day. Congratulations to the following 16 HS Mondovi Band Students for being selected into the Dunn/St. Croix Honor Band 2023!!! The Honor Band will be held in Boyceville on January 28th. Miriam Sandberg, Molly Avery, Dannica Zingsheim, Ben Yetter, Kelly Nygaard, Aubree Marsolek, Maddex Larson, Sofia Sandberg, Zachary Kroeplin, Harrison Rykal, Evan Bauer, Hayden Rykal, Dawson Traun, Lucca Ramponi, Braedon Larson and Shaw Esser.
Congratulations to Landon Clark and Courtney Stadter for their awesome performances Saturday at the State Cross Country meet! With his performance, Landon became the first boy since 1981 to earn a state medal for Mondovi.

Congratulations to Harrison Rykal, Kelly Nygaard, Dannica Zingshiem, Molly Avery, Miriam Sandberg and Lucca Ramponi for being selected to the 2022 UW-Eau Claire Honor Band! These Mondovi Band Students were selected from high school students all around the upper Midwest! The event will take place Saturday, November 5th at the Pablo Center in Eau Claire.
Middle/High School picture retake day is Thursday, October 27th. Pictures will take place in the morning in the Buffalo Lobby.
Pictures can be ordered online at www.strawbridge.net prior to picture retake day using code FM390606 or forms are available in the office.
If having retakes done, students should give their original picture package to the photographers that day.

Congratulations to all of the girls golf team members on a fantastic showing at the Clover/Croix Conference Championship. Julia Moats was 2nd team all conference, placing 6th overall for the season and Shaelee Dewitt placed 1st in JV.

Our choir students will be singing together with students from the rest of the schools in the Dunn/St. Croix conference and will have the chance to work with guest Conductor, Jacy Walker.
