The Mondovi School District is hosting the Triple P - Positive Parenting Program, run by the Buffalo & Pepin County Childcare Partnership's Family Resource Programming. A huge thank you to Heather Teigen for coordinating a donation of gifts from the Donkey Slayer Fundraiser for a Mondovi family in need during this Holiday Season. Heather shared some info. about the Donkey Slayer Fundraiser below.
"The Donkey Slayer Fundraiser was created in memory of Dylan Passa, who tragically passed away from COVID at just 17 years old. Dylan had a deep love for fishing, especially chasing walleyes on the Fox River. After one unforgettable night on the water, he proudly gave himself the nickname “Donkey Slayer,” a name that would later become a symbol of his passion and spirit.
In Dylan’s honor, we host an annual fundraiser that gives back to the community he loved. Through these efforts, we are able to support local organizations and families in need. In our first year, we donated $20,000 to Take ’Em Outdoors, an organization that provides hunting and fishing experiences for children with disabilities and military veterans. The following year, we donated a dock to the Fairchild Sportsmen’s Club—the place where Dylan first learned to fish. We have also donated to local organizations and families in need, scholarships to local schools, 100+ bicycles at fishing contests and more."

Mondovi Schools will be closing at 1:30 PM due to the incoming weather. There is no afternoon 4k. All afterschool activities are canceled. The Elementary Concert will be rescheduled.

Good morning Buffaloes Fans. The Mondovi Girls' Basketball team plays Fall Creek on Saturday in the Western Wisconsin Girls' Basketball Classic. The game is at 10:15 at The Sonnentag Center in Eau Claire. There are 8 games at The Sonnentag Center on Saturday. Tickets are $10 for all day admission. You must purchase tickets online.
