The School District of Mondovi is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive! This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference in our community and possibly save a life.
📅 Date: April 29th
🕛 Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Mondovi High School Gym
Who can donate? Students, staff, and community members are all welcome! You must be 17 years or older to donate, or 16 years old with a signed parent permission form.
Additional Red Cross Donation Info & Tips:
• Requirements: Donors must weigh at least 110 lbs and be in good general health and feeling well.
• Bring ID: Please remember to bring your Red Cross donor card, a driver's license, or two other forms of ID.
• Prepare: Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy meal before coming in for your donation.
• Save Time: You can use RapidPass® on the day of the drive to complete your pre-reading and health history questionnaire online before you arrive!

This week is WIAA Spring Sports Officials' Appreciation Week. Our SALT team put together snack bags and made thank you cards, and presented them to yesterday's baseball and softball officials. Without our WIAA officials, interscholastic sports would not be possible. THANK YOU, OFFICIALS!!!

We are also seeking coaches for our JV, C-Team, and Middle School teams. Positions are open until filled, with a start date near or around August 17, 2026. HS Volleyball positions would include summer programming.
The candidates should know the fundamental skills of volleyball, have prior coaching experience, and be able to effectively communicate that knowledge to middle and high school student-athletes. Strong leadership skills are a priority!

We are proud to announce Mondovi High School's 2026 Dunn-St. Croix Scholar Athletes, Bella West and Hunter Wik! This award celebrates DSC conference athletes who excel in both the classroom and the fields/courts in which they compete. Our athletes were honored last night at the 11th Annual DSC Scholar Athlete Banquet in Menomonie. Congratulations, Bella and Hunter!

Please join us next Wednesday, April 1st in the Mondovi School Cafeteria for a presentation on Phones, Social Media, and Screen Time, presented by Tom Kidd, B.S/M.S. ME-PD. This presentation is focused for parents of young children or teens, but will certainly be applicable for grandparents an other community members. Tom will talk about the harmful effects that early access to smart phones, social media, and screen time in general can have on our youth, particularly those whose brains are still in the early development stages. He will also provide the group with valuable strategies for working with our children to help them overcome/avoid the technology addiction cycle

It's National School Breakfast Week and the theme is "The Quest for Breakfast"! Students are encouraged to stop down Thursday morning in the cafeteria for a homemade breakfast skillet. Elementary school students can also enter a submission in a coloring contest showcasing their coat of arms and favorite breakfast foods. The top three drawings chosen by cafeteria staff will be eligible for prizes. Submissions must have a name and be completed and turned in by end of lunch period, Monday March 9th.
